WOMEN GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT (WGE) is a community organization that aims to strengthen the financial empowerment of women in emerging countries through microcredit, entrepreneurship and education, striving to improve their living conditions. Our activities also include promoting solidarity tourism at the heart of the communities.
The Pu Bin House of Spices project
The House of Spices project in Pu Bin aims to implement a training centre to produce spices and herbal remedies from harvest to transformation. The Pu Bin commune is nestled in a breathtaking mountain range approximately 150 km South-West of Hanoi. This region is ideal for the culture of spices and herbs.
We are a group of women from the Gatineau region that share a dream. For over 10 years, we have been working in hopes of contributing in a tangible way to the outreach of women across the world. We are fueled by a strong belief that we CAN make a difference.
In 2015, we moved to action and created Women Global Engagement (WGE), a cooperation organization that supports women locally and around the world in their quest to gain stronger social and financial freedom. We are now taking care of Diku Dilenga Canada, an organization in Gatineau that was established by Mr. Yvon Dupuis. This organization spent over 10 years helping the most vulnerable populations in Africa.
Help women get real-world training to integrate the job market and become more independent, thus contributing more wholesomely to their community.
